“Ah, seriously? The government is offering cryostasis to people for free? That sounds super fishy.. But hey, I mean.. What's the payout? I'm curious.”
The faint sound of a metal door opening rings around the room. Gentle clacks hit the metal floors, the noise sure to attract attention to whoever’s making them. But the clacks keep going as though looking around for something… But then they stopped abruptly.
“The sight of this room alone is rather nauseating... Are you sure we’ll even find anyone here?” Muttered one of them. The two continued to walk towards the rows of cryostasis chambers in front of them.
“We can only hope,” The other mumbled. “-- It seems like these chambers were set to defrost a long time ago.”
“This room is quite warm itself. This part of the facility must’ve been down for at least a few years.."
“The real question is if any of them managed to survive..”
“It's quite the gamble, truly..
Wait, Inigo. Do you see that?”
The clacking of their shoes stops suddenly. A faint hush could be heard, along with the gentle rustle of metal brushing against cotton as they walked, slowly edging towards the chamber near the back of the room.
Their furrowed brows loosen up once they see that the person behind the chamber was unconscious. Behind it, a young woman sat, back against the door of the chamber. She was unconscious; however, you could tell she was breathing. The two spoke to each other again, asking the question that will eventually come to define the outcome of this war…
“Inigo, what move should we take? It’s likely she’s a survivor, but it doesn’t remove the odds that this may well be a trap.” The man with umber skin and dark hair spoke. He puts away his claymore, confused as to what step to take next, when his friend answers:
“Let’s bring her back to base, Reagan. Leaving her here unconscious isn’t exactly.. ethical.” The man with light skin and glasses responded, as he too, put away his daggers.
The dark skinned man nodded, as he slowly reached down to try and put the woman’s arm over his shoulder so both he and his friend could carry her back.
The walk back was long, yet it felt very hopeful..

"There's a war going on right now."
Following a huge battle, Inigo and Reagan investigate a deserted government building in the hopes of gathering more governmental data, and or finding a possible survivor. There, they find Yuka unconscious behind the rows and rows of Cryostasis machines. Inigo decides their best move would be to take her back to the building, as there doesn't seem to be anyone else who survived. But, oh my, why does she bare a striking resemblance to Aika? Similar, yet so vastly different..
After she regains consciousness, she is met by Silas and Demeter, who ask her about her past and how she came to. Yuka.. is from the year 2030. She's a somewhat optimistic person, with a tainted view of the world... For she wishes for death to take her already. She doesn't seem to mind to the idea of dying in this war. Yet, she seems to have the strong urge to want to protect these strangers she just met...
