Six enthousiastic filmstudents making a documentary about sea turtles in Costa Rica
We are a group of 6 aspiring Dutch filmmakers, who want to help shine a light onto the problems that turtles face. These problems aren’t only the infamous plastic pollution of the oceans, but also poachers and light pollution. We want to inform people about these problems the way we know best: in the form of a documentary! To make this documentary we partnered up with @tortugasdepacuare, in Costa Rica. We will spent around seven days to film there, about what it takes to save turtles and why it’s such an important task to for world.
Only the six of us will be working on this documentary, meaning we’ll have to do the whole process ourselves. This means everthing from the start, including planning every single little detail, to the production itself, and to the screening to get the movie out into the world for everyone to see. There is just one thing we can’t do on our own and that is coming up with the entire budget. For this we need your help, through donating to our cause for a better future for turtles!
Did you know sea turtles can stay underwater between one to five hours, depending on the conditions?
