Note: Scholars that receive funding through Project MESA must commit to working with infants, toddlers, or children with disabilities/delays as an Speech Language Pathologist for at least four years within nine years of graduation.

Project MESA Funding Details
Funding Package: Scholars receive an award that goes directly to their bursar’s account each semester for them can use as they wish (e.g, tuition, books, professional attire, food, child care, transportation, etc):
Total funding: $64,800 (over 2 academic years)
Fall 1 : $10,800
Spring 1: $10,800
Summer 1: $10,800
Fall 2: $10,800
Fall 3: $10,800
Summer 3: $10,800
Professional Development Support: Scholars can request up to $2,000 to cover professional development (e.g., $1000 max per year for trainings, conferences, books, clinical materials, travel to Comunidad Crecer, Praxis fees, etc.)

Additional Financial Information
Are you from a state in the Western US? Project MESA applicants from eligible Western states may qualify for reduced tuition through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education’s Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP). This program allows students to enroll in participating graduate programs at in-state tuition rates, even if they are residents of another Western state.
