Minimum Requirements
Meet the requirements to apply to the University of New Mexico's Speech and Hearing Sciences program (e.g., a 3.4 GPA with at least 12 credits in Speech and Hearing Sciences coursework and a Bachelor of Arts in any field before Fall 2025).

Demonstrate an interest and commitment to working with young children with autism and developmental disabilities and their families
Demonstrate an interest and commitment to working with children and families from multilingual and multicultural backgrounds
Preferred qualifications:
Have at least 24 credits in Speech and Hearing Sciences
Although you do not need to be multilingual to apply, preference will be given to applicants who speak a non-English language frequently used in the Southwest (e.g., Spanish, Diné).
