Under general supervision, our Project LIKE Health Mentors engages youth in age-appropriate physical activities and helps to promote health literacy through wellness activities.
Food Recovery Advocate
Under general supervision, our Project LIKE Food Recovery Advocates assists with community food distributions for youth and their families to address food insecurity.
Literacy Leader
Under general supervision, our Project LIKE Literacy Leaders assist youth with academic tutoring, provide homework help, and develop supplemental learning activities.
Customized Digital Stories
At the Spring 2022 MiraCosta STREAM Festival, our Project LIKE Literacy Leaders volunteered to promote literacy and helped youth create digital stories. Click HERE to read and watch the digital stories written by the children and graphically designed by the Literacy Leaders.
