On 10th October 2024, Project Faith, in collaboration with In Lehkha and Mischief & Mayhem, successfully observed World Mental Health Day at the I & PR Auditorium Hall, Treasury Square. The event was a testament to the commitment of these organizations to raise awareness about mental health, particularly among school students.
The keynote address was delivered by Mrs. Rebecca Lalnundiki, a clinical psychologist and the founder of Child Development Centre, Aizawl. Her talk centered on the importance of understanding and addressing mental health issues, especially in children and adolescents. Mrs. Lalnundiki emphasized that mental health is as crucial as physical health and provided practical guidance for recognizing and managing mental health challenges in everyday life.
Laltlankimi, the founder of Project Faith, gave an introduction about the project, outlining its vision and mission to promote mental well-being and foster healthy environments in schools and communities. She spoke about how Project Faith is working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and create platforms for young people to express themselves.
The event also featured a storytelling competition for students, based on the theme "Mental Health in Schools." The competition was judged by an esteemed panel, including Mrs. Rebecca Lalnundiki; KC Lalthansanga, Assistant Professor, Department of Mizo, Mizoram Christian College; and Anita VL Nunmawii, founder and director of In Lehkha. The competition showcased the students' creativity and understanding of mental health issues, and their stories highlighted the significance of mental well-being in academic and social settings.
Prizes were awarded to the winners of both the poster-making and storytelling competitions.

The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and a vote of thanks, appreciating the collaborative efforts of Project Faith, In Lehkha, Mischief & Mayhem, and the participants. The observation of World Mental Health Day 2024 successfully raised awareness and encouraged ongoing dialogue around mental health, particularly in school settings.
Project Faith will observe World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2024. To mark this occasion, we will host competitions for high school students on the theme "Mental Health in Schools," with two categories: Poster Making and Storytelling. The event will also feature an awareness talk on mental health by Ms. Rebecca Lalnundiki, a clinical psychologist. Details of the programme will soon be posted.
Project Faith observed World Suicide Prevention day and month with the students of Kids Care School by organising a programme on 10th September, 2024 and putting up banners in various places about suicide awareness.
Project Faith Academy was launched on 7th July, 2024 by Rev.Dr Lalchungnunga. The academy offers music, art and life skills classes after schools in partnership with Kids Care School, Ramhlun South.
New Year service at Don Bosco School, Seling
Project Faith Organon Ministry were invited to have a praise and worship programme with the students of Don Bosco School, Seling on 12th January,2024 as the new year started.
Project Faith co-founder Lalthlanawma book called 'Fianrial Thlifim Bu Sen: Philosophy & Theology was released by Lalhruaitluanga Chawngte on 26th May, 2024.
Project Faith Organon Ministry were invited to have a camp with Class: X students from Far East Experimental School, Khawzawl during 25th to 27th June, 2024
Handprints on the Clay poetry book and it's accompanying documentary on mental health and christianity produced by project faith was released on 4th February, 2023.
Mental Health Awareness programme was carried out in various schools across Aizawl during July,2023 by showcasing videos and assessing student's understanding of mental health
Funds were raised before Christmas by project faith for the purpose of helping hospitalised individuals and orphanage homes during Christmas season
Christmas carolling was done in the first year to raise funds for donation and was later continued as a practice to serenade families who lost their loved ones during the past year.
A special programme was sponsored by the mother of Tommy Malsawmtluanga which was covered in video where project faith had a house fellowship with the family of the demise.
Central to Project Faith is the practice of Bible study which is done both in online and offline. Each session is started with a mass prayer and sharing of prayer points.
Project Faith would sing at various ocassions and places such as church service, book launch, birthday celebrations etc as per the invitation received.
