The approach behind the designated bike route to Al Hudayriat Island was one that can be held accountable for safety, efficiency, and accessibility. We made sure to take advantage of the green bike paths that have been constructed by the Abu Dhabi municipality, and used video footage and a customized path to make it as simple as possible for the user.
Below, you can find a plethora of resources dedicated to making your cycling experience as enjoyable as possible!
While this track has many excellent views along the way, it can also be a moderate to intense workout. It's important to be wary of the many slip roads (side roads) that you will come across during your ride, along with the fact that not many drivers use turn signals - making it hard to predict the cars' movements. Safety is the most important part of this experience and should you attempt this path please keep an eye out for any unusual drivers.
This route includes a few rather difficult turns through some intersections. Pay special attention to the intersection of Al Bateen and Jarneen (17th) Street. At this intersection, turn right (South West) onto Jarneen (17th) Street. There is a white building on Jarneen (17th) Street that should be your target!
Furthermore, all along Al Bateen Street, there are many traffic lights whose allotted times are very short, so be prepared to race across when the light is green!
