Thank you to everyone who attended the Pleasanton Ignite event! We enjoyed meeting many new people and displaying the work we had done this year. The little free libraries are almost there and within a few weeks, they will be ready to go!

We are a student run organization, with a mission to connect the community through service projects. We want to empower and guide the youth in our community to partake in meaningful service projects.

With the Project Connect team, I have been on a total of two MedShare projects, both of which were fun and inspiring. The organization was a welcoming place which served a great purpose. Learning about the scale of the organization was fantastic. I had never imagined that they were capable of sending over so many supplies; it was a pleasant surprise. The volunteering project easy, we just showed up on the assigned date and began working when everyone arrived. The MedShare coordinator gave us a tour of the facility and gave us our tasks. The facility was clean and organized, which made working there very easy. The directions were clear and straightforward. I overall had a fun time volunteering. I also learned about how the organization works and the scale they have achieved, as well as the thousands of people they have helped, which was mind-blowing. I would come back to volunteer again through Project Connect!

I had a fun time with the Project Connect guys while volunteering. I would highly recommend Project Connect for anyone that's interested in volunteering and having fun at the same time.
