We are looking for teachers, parents, and community members to participate in a series of community meetings to discuss STEM education in the rural communities and tribal nations of northern Arizona.
During these meetings, we will ask for feedback on the best ways to support schools, teachers, and students in your community. Specifically, we hope to identify key assets and challenges for schools and communities, when it comes to teaching and learning science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
By the end of the meetings, we hope to create a set of guidelines and resources to support the development of community and culturally relevant STEM curriculum for students.
