The visualization depicts the various modes of transportations that were most actively available and commonly used by the general public in Barcelona in the year of 2017. By the results obtained from the analysis, we could determine that the underground means of travelling was the one that was highly used while cableway being the least used mode of transport.
In this graph, we have plotted the different types of transportation means available in Barcelona. As we can see, in nearly most of the cities underground transportation is the common medium of traveling with more than 60% of all the transportation takes through the underground medium.
Apart from that, in the city of Sant Gervasi as it is near to the coastal area we can also find the maritime station there with around 42% of trade taking place through this mode. The other type of transportation methods consists of Cableway, trains to the airport, railways, trams, and funicular are some of them.
After analyzing the modes of transportation we took into consideration to identify the frequency of the location of bus stops in different cities of Barcelona.
As per the data, we analyzed that all the cities in Barcelona have good network connectivity with the frequency of different kinds of bus stops is very dense and high. As we can see, the entire Barcelona is connected through yellow dots showing day bus stops and green dots showing night bus stops.
