Generosity is a quality that is similar to selflessness. Someone who is generous is willing to donate their time, money, food, or kindness to those who are in need. Generosity, like honesty and patience, is a quality that we all wish we had more of. There are an increasing number of research demonstrating the positive effects of generosity on our physical and emotional wellbeing.
Since generosity is the most important aspect of worlds happiness we are taking the average from years 2015 to 2019 and sorting them by the number of values they have in the record. Studies have consistently proven that donating helps individuals feel good, as the body responds by generating "happy" hormones such as dopmine, endorphins, and oxytocin, according to a World Report article on what generosity does to your brain and life expectancy. Other research has found a correlation between charity and happiness. According to several research, people are happier when they spend money on others rather than on themselves, and this enjoyment encourages them to be more generous in the future.
Summary:
According to World Happiness Record different factors affect the happiness of the country which includes various life factors in addition to ranking the country's happiness and well-being levels, each report is contributing towards a particular theme like Freedom, generosity, Life expectancy, and GDP per capita. As we have seen earlier the happiness of the people living in the country is directly related to the happiness of the overall country. The most important factors which are GDP by capita and life expectancy are dependent on generosity and freedom. The data criteria utilized to calculate the countries' happiness scores are not holistic and inclusive. Other considerations must also be taken into account. GDP per capita appears to be a skewed metric in and of itself, and the constraints imposed by GDP are highly likely to skew the happiness score. In the current world happiness record in respect to GDP per capita and Life Expectancy, the lowest rank of the countries are from Africa. Whereas for corruption South Sudan has the lowest rank; Vietnam is lowest for the generosity, and for freedom, Syria stands at the lowest rank among all the countries.
