Freedom is understood as either having the ability who act or change without constraint or to poses the power and resources to fulfill one purpose. Freedom is significant because it promotes greater manifestations of creativity and innovative thought, as well as higher productivity and overall good quality of life, all of which contribute to longer life expectancy. Corruption can be defined as dishonest or illegal behavior, especially by powerful people such as government officials or police officials. In other words, inducement to wrong by improper or unlawful means (such as bribery) corruption of government officials.
In this segment we are considering the corruption from 2015 to 2019 from World Happiness Record. We show that perceived corruption has a significant effect on happiness. When the same research is carried out within each country, we see that when there is a strong association between perceived corruption and happiness, it is also a negative relationship. The national perception of corruption is just the average response to the general perception of corruption at the individual level. In the Gallup World Poll waves, positive affect is defined as the average of three positive effect measures: happiness, laughter, and enjoyment. In poverty, it appears that liberty does not pay. Furthermore, enjoyment is only linked to freedom when "opportunity" and "capability" meet. Economic liberty is a prominent exception. Freedom and happiness are strongly linked, and more recent research has found that freedom produces happiness. It can be seen that average freedom in different countries are lower than expected which affects countries happiness and life expectancy.
