RTLB Focus Group

RTLB is working with the Progressions team in supporting the online 'Transition Form'.

There advice and guidance is in place best practice is in place when working with kaiako and whanau.

Transition Steering Committee

In March we developed a steering committee for our Transition Community.

This committee is made up of a range of kaiako in our community.

New Entrant Kaiako
LSC (Learning Support Co-orderinator)
Private sector ECE kaiako
Community sector ECE kaiako
Corporate sector ECE kaiako
REAP HOUSE
Kindergatern ECE kaiako
Kindergatern Lead kaiako

The committee gathers together once a term to share ideas create goals and set actions to be taken for our transition community.

Our transition community consists of all those involved in tamariki's life from Infancy - 7yrs.

Centre Visits

This year I have continued to visit centres in Masterton to talk about all things Kāhui Ako. Many centre teams do not know much about Kāhui Ako... or have never heard of it. These staff meeting visits have been an amazing way to connect to our ECE sector!
