Description

Our beginner courses teach the fundamentals of programming in python. We will assign "mini-projects'' to work on during the week, such as a calculator program, prime number generator, basic authentication database, etc. The concepts that will be taught will include variables, data types, strings, loops, and functions. At the end of the beginner courses, students will be given a diagnostic test to measure their proficiency and will be given an option to attend the intermediate course regardless of their score. Based on student’s scores for the final proficiency test, they will be approved to complete their own CS project mentored by the ProgramLIVE staff in the intermediate course.
