The main Rom is NOT my work and I am NOT calling it my own!
The original Usamune Practice Rom was made by circummark & atmpas!

Q: So, what did I do?
A: I wanted to have custom elements in my Usamune Practice Rom (like in the old days where we had these cool gameshark codes that changed the star colors).
So I changed few parts of the code to import and change few textures without breaking the great practice tools the Usamune Rom provides
Q: Okay, so why did you not create your own practice rom?
A: Because I simply can't do something like that.
Q: Why do you have this on your website?
A: A lot of people often text me and ask if I could make a rom for them, so it's no secret that quite a few people want to have a modded Usamune Rom. So I decided to make this public and offer a few color change presets.
Q: What did you change in those presets?
A:
- Menu Font
- Input Display is an octagon now
- Input Display Button Textures in colors
- Star Color changed
- Dust color is changed
Q: How can I use the patches after I downloaded them?
A: 1. You need your own standard US or JP v1.93 Usamune Rom, follow the instructions on their site.
2. Get a patcher like here or use an online patcher and click on apply patch.
3. Choose your standard Usamune Rom as "ORIGINAL UNMODIFIED ROM" with the correct Region and one of my color patches as patch.
Q: What is Fast Boot?
A: Fast Boot Patch basically throws you right into the game after starting it. That will skip Boot Logo, Head Screen and File Select. Will save few seconds everytime you start to rom. It also has my octagon stick gate update but do not come with other changes.
(FOR EVERDRIVE USERS) Make sure to copy the existing 120 file on File D to File A and also rename either your savefile to the new modified Usamune Rom or the modifed Fast Boot rom to the original Usamune Rom name to match the game saves file with the Rom. Otherwise it will always boot into intro cutscene!
