This event will allow students, faculty, and GIS professionals to network and share current research, and share professional development opportunities with students, such as scholarships, research experiences, certification programs, and educational initiatives in the New York City Metropolitan area. GIS Day is your gateway to understanding how GIS can tackle real-world challenges and enhance your future career, and share your work with a community who are passionate about our environment, geospatial data, environmental analysis, and data-driven applications of your work. We are currently soliciting presentations for this year's event. Student Posters Nov. 20 at 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM

We are currently soliciting student posters for this year's event. If you or a student you know is interested in presenting their work, centered on the theme 'Resilient Landscapes: Designing with Nature in Mind,' please feel free to contact me at Sean.thatcher@csi.cuny.edu. 

A student is defined as a high-school, undergraduate, or graduate student, or a recent graduate within or beyond the City University of New York. Posters should be 36 inches wide and 24 inches tall. All presenting students will be given a certificate of attendance, and we encourage you to bring family, friends, and guests to celebrate your hard work.
