Physics for Allied Health

The lecture notes that accompany the Physics for Allied Health course - entitled Physics of the Human Body - are finally complete. I'm really happy with how they turned out and super excited to teach this in the spring!

These lecture notes are a short introduction to physics that focuses on the applications of physics to the human body and medicine - and covers mechanics of the human body, energy and thermodynamics, biological fluid mechanics, speech and hearing, electricity, optics of the eye, biological effects of radiation, and global warming. The course is focused on the needs of students in the Nuclear Medicine and Health Sciences programs at RMU.
