Digital Media Exploration

Project Description 

For this project, I explored and shared different types of digital media focused on “Flowers and Blossom Trees”. These natural wonders represent beauty, growth, and renewal. I gathered media from various sources and ensured all content is ethically licensed and credited.

To the left is a calming audio file of gentle wind and nature sounds. I selected it because it perfectly complements the peaceful atmosphere of cherry blossoms in bloom, adding a relaxing background to the visuals.

I found this sound by searching for "wind nature ambient" on Freesound.org, a community-driven site offering Creative Commons audio clips. I downloaded the MP3 file and uploaded it to my Google Drive so I could embed it into my website.

I chose this video because it complements the natural beauty theme of my project and highlights the vibrant, colorful world beneath the ocean's surface—just like blossoms brighten the land, coral reefs add color and life to the sea.

Lessons Learned

This project taught me how to appreciate the delicate beauty of flowers and trees while learning how to properly credit and use digital media. I also discovered different ways to incorporate various media types, such as images, audio, GIFs, and video, into creative projects.
