The Strengthened Technical-Vocational Education Program (STVEP) is an initiative in the Philippines aimed at enhancing technical and vocational education for students in secondary schools. Launched in 2007 by the Department of Education (DepEd), the program focuses on equipping students with practical skills that will prepare them for employment, entrepreneurship, or further studies in technical fields.
STVEP is implemented in selected technical-vocational high schools (TVHS) across the country. It provides learners with specialized training in various fields such as automotive technology, electronics, information and communication technology (ICT), agriculture, home economics, and industrial arts. The program follows an industry-driven curriculum that aligns with national and global labor market demands.
