For me teaching is an effort of leaving the learner not only with new knowledge but also with a taste of leaving class with something of significance. Something that leaves a mark that goes far beyond the successful fulfillment of the formal learning requirements. To achieve this goal, I make any effort that the study will involve a personal experience. That students will also get to experience something that is linked to what they are learning and not just get the theory and facts related to it. To this aim, classes are endowed with exercises and relevant examples. To fulfill this goal, in my teaching, I make every effort to take advantage of modern technology. Each lecture is accompanied by a set of class exercises attempting to replicate important studies and to exemplify significant psychological phenomena. This is achieved by the use of on-line questionnaires and tasks that are performed using students smartphones or tablets. Results are calculated automatically and embedded in class presentations. This is achieved by using google's on line applications of google forms, google sheets and google slides backed by a set of add ins enabling automatic manipulation of data, automatic emails sent as feedback to students and more. This takes the old tradition of teaching is psychology a step further into the modern era of web based applications.
