It was my great pleasure to accept two invitations from Prof. Leslie Greengard, the Director of the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) at the Flatiron Institute, Simons Foundation, New York City, USA, to present my research and discuss potential common research endeavors. As a result, we are actively collaborating with Prof. Leslie Greengard, Shidong Jiang, PhD, and Daniel Fortunato, PhD, CCM, NYC, USA in the field of fast spectral methods.
Prof. Grady Wright, Bois University, USA, was one of my guests during a workshop on kernel methods I organized. I'm delighted to join efforts on developing further contributions to the field of numerical differential geometry together with Grady.
I'm honoured to exchange scientific ideas and develop novel perspectives, addressing mathematical problems arising in PDE theory and their numerical solutions, with Prof. Oliver Sander, Technical University Dresden. Two PhD projects on these aspects are jointly supervised, funded by the CASUS Open Project Computational methods for cell shapes and elastic materials.
My engagement in the Mosaic group, headed by Prof. Ivo F. Sbalzarini, Technical University, Dresden, located at the interdisciplinary research environment of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Center for Systems Biology (CSBD) has been substantial for my scientific career. Continuing to work with Ivo is a delight and provides profound scientific insights across disciplines and fields.
