Professional Communication

Course Description:

Students will refine the grammatical, spelling, vocabulary, and stylistic skills necessary for effective writing in the business environment. Moreover, students will be able to complete the professional formal report at many different levels. This theoretic and practical class is a comprehensive study of the role of written communication in business and management contexts designed to focus on standard format of writing and presenting information.

There is an introduction to proper form including issues such as tone, brevity, manner, style and impact of correspondence.

Professional Communication is a key class and is related to all classes in the UAM College study plan.
