Dr. Virendra Singh is a cancer biologist and translational biomedical researcher specializing in cancer biology, pancreatic diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and molecular mechanisms of disease. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology from the Department of Zoology, Banaras Hindu University, where he investigated tumor hypoxia and its role in solid tumor progression. He subsequently completed postdoctoral research at the Department of Gastroenterology, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, including biomarker discovery and disease pathogenesis.
Dr. Singh completed his postgraduate studies at K.N. Kaul Institute of Life Sciences, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, and his undergraduate education at Firoz Gandhi College.
His research interests include cancer biology, tumor microenvironment and hypoxia, pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal disorders, molecular biomarkers, and translational medicine. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in international journals and is dedicated to translating basic research into improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for cancer.
