Episode 1: Meet Dr. Renee Bourdeaux

Renee Bourdeaux received her doctoral degree in the Department of Communication at North Dakota State University. Currently, Renee is an Assistant Professor at Northwest University and teaches communication courses focused on relationships, in addition to teaching public speaking classes. Renee’s expertise is in interpersonal communication, and her passion lies in researching positivity and resilience in romantic relationships. Renee’s most recent book, Communicating Love in Relationships, showcases how to communicate love better.
Renee has worked in the public sector as a Vice President of Communication and Marketing and before that she worked for almost a decade in residence life on two college campuses. When not on campus, she enjoys being active—especially hiking and backpacking in the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges in Washington state. She has boundless enthusiasm for life, and she is always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to use her talents!
