The flounder robot is a perfect example of what can be done using a robotic manipulator. The machine is a scaled-up version of an animal - it's still aquatic! It has fins for flotation and an air-breathing lung. The battery power allows it to stay underwater for an unlimited amount of time. If you do not like fishy robots, the flounder bot can be modified to run on wheels, or even flown.
