JAN 3: Notices to current gardeners to submit applications and plot payments
FEB 1: Plot applications due for current gardeners
FEB 15: Any unpaid plot (regardless of application submission) will be reassigned immediately.
MARCH: Waitlist gardeners begin to be contacted.
APR: Orientations for new gardeners begins.
Ongoing Plot maintenance and preparations for food donations to be organized by Philanthropy leader and supported by all gardeners.
All gardener - volunteer parties begin.
AUG (mid-late): Annual POT LUCK and seasonal meeting.
SEPT 30: Nominate new garden leadership for following year.
DEC: Conduct all final year's business and conduct/announce new leadership for upcoming year.
Annual reports from all committee members in meeting - send off for great holidays.
New steering team leaders begin their tasks for the year.
Time to assess the garden volunteering progress and readjust duties as needed.
Reflect on garden experiences, share food, fun and friendships. Begin to motivate & nominate eligible garden leadership positions. Prep for voting in new leadership September-November
New steering team leaders get introduced to their new positions by outgoing leaders. All year's end garden business gets addressed.
