Proctor Community Garden is on city land, managed by it's gardeners along with support from the City of Tacoma, Metro Parks Tacoma, Pierce County Public Works and the Pierce Conservation District through a program created in 2010 called Harvest Pierce County.
The mission of Harvest Pierce County: is investing in people to foster and sustain an equitable and healthy community-based food system throughout Pierce County.
Proctor Garden consists of 68 spaces where community members maintain plots and common areas year round.
Proctor is a popular community garden with a waitlist.
