My tutoring sessions are run virtually via Zoom, allowing me to work with students across Ontario! Although tutoring sessions are held virtually, I aim to make each session as interactive and engaging as possible. I incorporate diverse teaching styles beyond simply teaching content such as leveraging the whiteboard to draw and annotate, using visuals, videos, and other interactive apporaches based on the students' learning needs.
Each tutoring session is tailored to the individual needs and goals of the student. If there are specific assignments, course materials, topics, or questions you would like to focus on, please send them via email at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. This allows me to review the material in advance and prepare to make the most of our time together.
If there is nothing specific to work through, no problem! Let me know the subject or area you would like to focus on, and I will prepare a general review with activities and practice tailored to the student’s needs.

Absolutely! Tutoring sessions can be used to work through homework, assignments, review for tests and quizzes, and other classwork. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through the material, help clarify challenging concepts, and develop the skills they need to approach similar work independently. The goal is for students to leave each session with both a stronger understanding of their current work and greater confidence moving forward.
The frequency of tutoring depends on each student’s individual needs, goals, and schedule. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions are a great option for students looking for consistent academic support, while others may benefit from occasional sessions before tests, assignments, or when extra help is needed.
I typically set a fixed day and time to meet regularly with the student to ensure consistency across my tutoring services and in attending sessions.
My availability fills up quickly as interest from families grow over the school year.

I understand that schedules can change! If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee, as time has already been dedicated to preparing materials and planning for the session.
If a student arrives late or is unable to attend the full scheduled session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full session fee will apply.
Payment is due via e-transfer at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tutoring session. Your session is considered confirmed once payment has been received. A receipt is provided upon request. Please include Tutoring - [Student Name] - [Session Date] as the e-transfer subject line.Â
I usually send a monthly invoice containing all the sessions covered for the month.
