Terms of Use — Reddo Screen Recorder
Effective date: 19 October 2026 Last updated: 19 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and appydo ("we", "us", "our") for your use of Reddo – Screen Recorder (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Who can use the App
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the App. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and purchases must be made with their consent.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use, in line with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
You may not:
copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
remove ads by tampering with the App, or unlock Pro features without paying;
resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the App;
use the App to break any law or anyone else's rights.
3. Your content and responsibilities
Your recordings belong to you. Recordings, screenshots, GIFs, audio and edits you make ("Your Content") are stored on your device. We don't claim any ownership of Your Content and we don't access it.
You are solely responsible for what you record and share. In particular, you agree not to use the App to:
record phone or video calls, meetings, or other people without the consent required by law in your location;
capture or distribute copyrighted content (films, TV, paid streams, music, games, courses) you don't have the right to copy;
get around DRM or other technical protections — note that many apps block capture, and the App will record a blank screen or no audio for them;
capture passwords, banking or payment details, or other confidential information that isn't yours;
create content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or that exploits minors.
Some apps don't allow their audio to be captured, and Android may stop a recording at any time (for example if you revoke screen sharing from the status bar or lock the screen). This is outside our control.
4. Pro features and purchases
The App is free with ads. Reddo Pro removes ads and unlocks premium features (as described in the App at the time of purchase). Pro is available as:
monthly or yearly subscription — renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel;
lifetime purchase — a one-time payment for this App on your Google account, where offered.
Billing. All purchases are processed by Google Play, under Google Play's terms. Prices are shown in the App and on Google Play before you buy and may vary by country and include local taxes where applicable.
Free trial. If a free trial is offered (for example on the yearly plan), you'll be charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Each Google account can use a trial once.
Cancelling. Cancel anytime in Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637). If a purchase is refunded, Pro is removed. Nothing here limits any rights you have under consumer law in your country.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Google Play will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your agreement before charging a new price.
Restoring Pro. Pro is tied to the Google account that made the purchase and is restored automatically on devices signed in to that account.
Rewarded unlocks. In the free version, you may be offered to unlock a single use of a Pro feature by watching a rewarded ad. Such unlocks have no cash value and can't be transferred.
5. Ads
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Ads are subject to Google's policies, and your consent choices are explained in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is used. In short: your media stays on your device; Google services collect limited technical data for ads, purchases, analytics and crash reports.
7. Our intellectual property
The App, its name, logo, design, code and content (other than Your Content and third-party material) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't give you any right to use our name or logo. Open-source components are used under their own licences.
8. Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features of the App at any time, for example to comply with Android or Google Play requirements. Some updates may be needed to keep using the App. If we remove a paid Pro feature permanently, we'll make reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent or let you know.
9. Back up your recordings
Recordings are stored only on your device. Deleting them, clearing the App's storage, a device reset, insufficient storage, or interruptions (such as a low battery, an incoming call, or Android stopping the recording) can cause recordings to be lost or incomplete. Please back up anything important. We can't recover deleted or lost files.
10. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, app or Android version.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, recordings, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing.
Some countries don't allow these exclusions or limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it (and cancelling any subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. Sections 3, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 15 survive termination.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date; for significant changes we'll notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept them.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.
