FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I record a meeting?
Open the app and tap Record. You can add participants, mark decisions and track agenda items while the recording runs. Tap Stop when the meeting ends and Minutely will transcribe the audio and generate the minutes.
Can I use audio I recorded somewhere else?
Yes. Use Import audio to bring in an existing recording, or Import transcript if you already have text and only want the minutes generated.
What do the plans include?
Plans are priced by AI processing time per month, not by number of meetings.
Free - 30 minutes per month
Starter - 2.5 hours per month
Standard - 10 hours per month
Pro - 40 hours per month
Elite - 150 hours per month
Platinum - 250 hours per month
Diamond - 350 hours per month
Extra Volume adds one additional hour as a one-off purchase when you need more than your plan allows.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple:
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions
3. Select Minutely and tap Cancel Subscription
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel or refund an Apple subscription on your behalf - refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I paid but my plan did not unlock
Open Settings then Restore purchases in the app. If that does not resolve it, email us with your Apple receipt and we will sort it out.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings then Delete account. This permanently removes your account, transcripts, minutes and stored documents from our servers, then signs you out and wipes local data.
If you cannot access the app, email jamchesssupport@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and ask for deletion. We will confirm once it is done.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Your transcripts, minutes and documents are stored in your own account and are not readable by other users. Meeting audio is sent to a speech-to-text provider for processing and is not retained by Minutely as stored data. The resulting text is then sent to Anthropic's Claude to produce the minutes - Claude never receives raw audio. The privacy policy on this site has the full detail.
The transcription got something wrong
Tap Report an Issue on any generated minutes. It sends us a short, targeted report - not your full audio, full transcript or the full minutes - so we can improve accuracy.
My recording stopped when the screen locked
Keep Minutely in the foreground while recording. If you hit this on a long meeting, email us with the approximate date and length and we will look into it.
