Privacy Policy for Dopamine Menu / ADHD Tasker

Vector Peak App we built the Dopamine Menu / ADHD Tasker app as an Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Vector Peak App at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information.

Local Data (App Functionality) The core functionality of the Dopamine Menu app relies on local device storage (localStorage and IndexedDB via WebView). Any data you enter into the app, such as completed tasks, your daily log, and user preferences (like Dark Mode or Energy levels), is stored strictly locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on any external servers. We have no access to your personal app data.

Third-Party Services and Location Data The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you and serve personalized advertisements. Specifically, we use Google AdMob. Google AdMob may access and collect the following data to provide relevant ads:

• Location Data: AdMob may collect approximate location data (derived from your IP address or device sensors) to serve location-based advertising.

• Device Identifiers: Advertising IDs, IP addresses, and interaction data with advertisements.

2. Data Retention

We are committed to being transparent about how long data is kept:

• App Data: The data related to your daily logs and settings is retained locally on your device for as long as the app is installed. Since this data is not sent to our servers, we do not hold any retention periods on our end.

• Ad Data: For data collected by Google AdMob (including approximate Location data), the retention period is governed by Google’s privacy policies.

3. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time.

How to delete your data:

1. Within the App: You can clear your daily task data immediately by navigating to the "Settings" tab inside the app and tapping the "Clear Today's Log" button.

2. Device Settings: You can clear all app data, including saved preferences, by going to your device's Settings > Apps > Dopamine Menu > Storage, and tapping "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache".

3. Uninstalling: Completely uninstalling the app from your device will permanently delete all locally stored data associated with the app.

Since we do not store your data on external servers, taking any of the actions above ensures your data is completely removed.

4. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the app uses third-party code and libraries (like Google AdMob) that may use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
