GoViral AI ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed by Codebage. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (iOS).

Summary: GoViral AI does not require user accounts, does not collect personal information, and stores your data locally on your device. Video content you choose to analyze is processed through Google's Gemini AI API via secure servers.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

Video Content: When you use the video analysis feature, you select a video from your device. The App extracts frames from the video and sends them to Google's Gemini AI API for analysis. We do not store your video on any external server.

Text Input: When you use AI content generators (script, hook, hashtag, etc.), the text prompts you enter are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing.

b) Information Stored Locally

Analysis History: Your video analysis results are stored locally on your device using a local database. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

App Preferences: Settings such as theme preference are stored locally on your device.

c) Information Collected Automatically

No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or advertising trackers in the App.

Network Requests: When making API requests, standard network metadata (such as IP address) may be processed by our cloud infrastructure provider (Google Firebase/Cloud). We do not log or store this data ourselves.

Anonymous Trial Identifier: To enforce the one-time free trial and prevent abuse, the App generates a random, anonymous identifier stored in your device Keychain. It is cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) before being sent to our Firebase database, so the raw identifier never leaves your device. This is not your Apple ID, hardware identifier, or advertising identifier (IDFA), and cannot be used to identify you personally.

d) Information We Do NOT Collect

Names, email addresses, or personal identifiers

Location data

Contact lists or phone numbers

Device identifiers for tracking purposes

Browsing history

Payment or financial information (handled entirely by the Apple App Store)

2. How We Use Your Information

Video Analysis: Video frames are sent to Google's Gemini AI API solely to generate analysis results (virality score, content insights, improvement suggestions). Frames are transmitted securely and are not stored by us.

Content Generation: Text prompts are sent to Google's Gemini AI API to generate scripts, hooks, hashtags, captions, titles, ideas, and calls-to-action.

Local Storage: Analysis results and preferences are stored on your device to provide history and personalization features.

Subscription Management: Subscription status is managed through the Apple App Store (In-App Purchase). We verify your subscription status on your device to provide access to premium features.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

a) Google Gemini AI API

Video frames and text prompts are processed by Google's Gemini AI API. Google may retain API inputs for up to 55 days for abuse monitoring and safety purposes. Google's processing is governed by the Gemini API Terms of Service (https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms) and Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

b) Google Firebase (Cloud Functions & Firestore)

We use Google Firebase Cloud Functions as a secure proxy to communicate with the Gemini AI API, and Firebase Firestore to store the anonymous, hashed trial identifier described above. c) Apple App Store (In-App Purchase)

Subscription purchases and payments are handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. See the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

4. Data Storage and Security

All analysis history and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any external server.

Video frames and text prompts sent to the AI API are transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption.

Other than the anonymous, hashed trial identifier described above, we do not maintain any external database containing personal user data.

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

5. Data Retention

Local Data: Stored on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App.

Gemini AI API: Google may retain API inputs for up to 55 days for abuse monitoring, after which they are deleted.

Firebase Cloud Functions: Request logs are retained by Google per their standard retention policies.

Subscription Data: Managed and retained by Apple per their policies.

6. AI-Generated Content

GoViral AI uses artificial intelligence to analyze videos and generate content. Please be aware that:

AI-generated results (scores, scripts, hashtags, insights) are automated suggestions and should not be considered professional advice.

AI analysis is based on patterns and may not always be accurate.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it.

If you encounter offensive or inappropriate AI-generated content, you can report it through the App's feedback mechanism.

7. Videos Containing Personal Data

Videos you analyze may contain images of people, locations, or other personal information. Please note:

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any video you submit for analysis.

We recommend avoiding videos containing sensitive personal information of others (faces of minors, government IDs, financial documents, etc.).

Video frames sent to the AI API may contain identifiable information visible in the video.

8. Subscriptions

GoViral AI offers weekly ($4.99/week), monthly ($12.99/month), and yearly ($59.99/year) subscription plans.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions (or the App Store app).

Payment is processed by the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

9. Children's Privacy

GoViral AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Your Rights

All Users:

Delete all local data by clearing app data or uninstalling the App

Cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store

Choose not to use features that send data to the AI API

Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data

Right to Object: Object to data processing based on legitimate interests

Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the App

Our legal basis for processing: Consent (you choose to submit videos/text for AI analysis), Contractual Necessity (processing subscriptions), and Legitimate Interest (security and abuse prevention).

Data is transferred to Google's servers which may be located outside the EEA. These transfers are protected by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and Data Processing Terms.

California Users — CCPA/CPRA:

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Request deletion of your personal information

Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell your data)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
