Local Rules: Your tab grouping rules and preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API.
Syncing: If you have Chrome Sync enabled, your rules may be synced across your devices via your Google Account. This data is handled entirely by Google's Chrome Sync infrastructure; Tabomatic developers have no access to this data.
3. Permissions Tabomatic requires specific browser permissions to function:
Tabs & Hosts: Used strictly to read the URL of the websites you visit locally on your machine to match them against your saved grouping rules. We do not track your browsing history.
Side Panel: Used to display the extension interface alongside your content.
4. Third-Party Services Tabomatic operates independently and does not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
