Our ski programs are designed to cater to young athletes at various skill levels, ensuring a fun and supportive environment for growth and development in freestyle skiing. From introductory lessons to competitive training, each program builds on the previous one, allowing athletes to progress at their own pace. We're here to help guide you to the right fit for your child's skiing journey!
Ready Set Ski Program First Half (Saturday Mornings in December) $50.00
This program is designed for all new members of the club, whether you're a complete beginner or already have some skiing experience. Before joining our regular weekday lessons, all participants must complete at least one Saturday session. These sessions provide essential training, covering skills like using the tow rope, stopping, starting techniques, and snowplowing.
We encourage a capable parent or guardian to attend, providing physical support when needed. Once our coaches determine your child is ready, they'll move into our regular Monday lessons, and we’ll send you further information by email.
Ready Set Ski Program Second Half (Monday Evenings) $75.00
For skiers who have completed an introductory Saturday session, this course offers progression to weekday lessons. Athletes are grouped by age, ability, and skill level for tailored instruction, ensuring a fun, inclusive environment where each skier can progress at their own pace with support from experienced coaches.
FUNdamentalz Program (Monday Evenings $125.00)
Ideal for young skiers with basic abilities, this program encourages skill development in a social and supportive setting. Kids will explore foundational freestyle techniques, such as jumps and tricks, at a comfortable pace, gaining confidence on the slopes while forming friendships.
Freestylerz Program (Monday Evenings $125.00) or (Monday/Tuesday $180)
Designed for athletes who have completed the FUNdamentalz Program, Freestylerz builds on foundational skills with a greater emphasis on freestyle techniques. This program introduces athletes to more advanced tricks, terrain park features, and moguls, fostering a supportive atmosphere for skill enhancement and personal growth.
Freestylerz Plus Program (Tuesday Evening - $175.00) or (Monday/Tuesday Evenig $280.00)
Aimed at athletes with a strong freestyle foundation, Freestylerz Plus focuses on advancing jumps, moguls, and rail techniques safely. Participants can choose to enter competitions, with optional in-province events hosted by Freestyle SK, offering experience without a mandatory commitment.
Competitive Development Program (Comp Dev) (Monday/Tuesday $280.00)
For athletes dedicated to regular competition, Comp Dev builds on Freestylerz Plus with advanced focus on competition strategy, judging, and mental preparation. Designed for those ready for a more competition-focused path, this program includes the option to compete in Alberta as well.
Additional training opportunities and competition participation will also come with extra costs, including fees for registration, travel, and accommodations.
Both programs aim to build freestyle skills and competition readiness, with Freestylerz Plus introducing athletes to competition and the Comp Dev program providing a more focused, competition-oriented experience.
In addition to registration fees, there's a $90.00+tax insurance fee payable to Freestyle Saskatchewan. Athletes are responsible for their own lift tickets and ski rentals.
Bingo Opportunities:
To help offset registration costs, parents and caregivers can work bingos. Completing each bingo session will be reimbursed at $50.00. Families can fully offset their registration costs this way. If you're a FREESTLERZ PLUS athlete interested in this opportunity later in the season to help offset competition and training fees, please indicate on your registration form.
