The #InternationalDayofForests aims to Restore our Forests as this is a path to recovery and well-being. The restoration and sustainable management of forests help address the climate change and biodiversity crises. It also produces goods and services for sustainable development, fostering an economic activity that creates jobs and improves lives.
#WorldWaterDay, held on the 22nd of March every year since 1993, focuses on the importance of freshwater. World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis.
