Building Sustainable Communities: Our Commitment to a Better Future

By: Cristina C. Bonghanoy

Introducing our three core sustainability structures that form the foundation of our commitment to creating a better and more resilient future for our communities. At PrimeWater Panabo, we firmly believe that our responsibility extends beyond providing essential water services. It is our duty to actively contribute to the well-being of the people we serve and the environment we inhabit.

Nurturing Hygienic Habits

and Water Awareness

At PrimeWater Panabo, we prioritize the well-being of our communities by promoting sustainable practices. One of our key initiatives is the 'Pag-Amping' (Caring) and 'Amping Eskwela' (School Care) program, which focuses on celebrating Handwashing Day at schools.

Through this program, we donate handwashing stations to public schools, empowering students with the tools they need to maintain good hygiene. Additionally, we conduct informative sessions in elementary schools, educating students about proper handwashing and other water-related activities.

By nurturing a culture of cleanliness and water consciousness, we hope to instill lifelong habits that protect public health and conserve our precious water resources.

Sustaining a Greener

and Cleaner City

We are committed to fostering a sustainable environment through our 'Pagpadayon' (Continuation) program or Project Padayon. This initiative revolves around caring for our surroundings and protecting nature.

Under Project Padayon, we organize tree-planting campaigns, contributing to reforestation efforts and improving air quality in the city. Regular clean-up drives help maintain cleanliness and reduce pollution, enhancing the overall well-being of our communities.

We extend our commitment to preserving the coastal ecosystem by conducting coastal cleanups, and safeguarding marine life and coastal environments from harmful debris.

Furthermore, we conduct extensive information drives to raise awareness about environmental issues, inspiring individuals and communities to take active roles in caring for their environment.

Through Project Padayon, we aspire to create a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable city, promoting a better future for generations to come."

Empowering our Workforce

for Excellence

We firmly believe that the growth and development of our employees are fundamental to providing better services to our customers. The program 'Paglambo' (Cultivation) or "Kalamboan sa Empleyado" centers on equipping our workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge for exceptional performance and service delivery.

Key elements:

Investing in Project Kalamboan empowers our employees, elevating service quality and fostering a valued work environment.

#AmpingEskwela: The Global Handwashing Day celebration of PrimeWater Panabo at Panabo Central Elementary School was a big success, with Sabon Depot sponsoring the soap. Pupils and teachers from the school attended the event. The highlight of the celebration was the handwashing demonstration by the pupils themselves. They showed how to wash their hands using soap and water and emphasized the importance of handwashing to prevent diseases. The participants enjoyed singing and dancing to the handwashing song, games, and prizes. Overall, it was a great event that encouraged everyone to practice proper hand hygiene.

BM Cristina C. Bonghanoy institutionalized the Amping Eskwela Program on August 16, 2019. It focuses on donating handwashing stations to schools, repairing water systems, and partnering with schools to advocate for better hand hygiene practices. The program has reached over 10,000 students since 2019.
