The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has completed an excellent series of videos for Early childhood and Junior Primary educators to use. This series introduces students to well-known orchestral works in a fun and accessible way. The Philharmonia website is a fantastic resource for introducing the Instruments of the Orchestra to Middle Primary students right through to Junior Secondary students. Their resource page has 3 sections - Orchestra Unwrapped Resources, a Sound Samples Library and their Instruments Pages which introduce every instrument of the orchestra individually in a short informative video presented by musicians from the orchestra.
