We value your privacy and comply with applicable laws and app-store policies. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using PriceWise (the “App”).
You can use the App without creating an account. We collect only what is necessary.
Information You Provide Directly
(Optional) When you contact support/feedback: email address, message content, and any attachments.
Price/weight inputs are processed locally on your device solely to calculate unit prices and are not sent to our servers.
Information Collected Automatically (including via third-party SDKs)
For ads and quality measurement: Advertising ID (AAID/IDFA), App version, device information, and usage statistics (impressions/clicks).
For purchases: Purchase tokens and transaction identifiers processed through Google Play Billing.
We do not collect sensitive categories of data (e.g., health, religion) or precise location.
Provide core features (e.g., unit-price calculation by gram).
Improve stability, diagnose errors, and optimize performance.
Operate ads and rewarded ads (e.g., temporary ad removal after viewing).
Process in-app purchases (ad removal/Pro upgrade) and purchase restoration.
Comply with legal obligations and handle disputes.
To deliver the App, we integrate the following partners. They may collect data under their own policies. Please review their privacy terms.
Google AdMob (ads/rewarded ads)
Google Play Billing (in-app purchase and receipt verification)
(If enabled) Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics (crash reports/usage analytics)
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We disclose data only with your consent, to service providers under contract, or when required by law.
Support/Inquiry records: Up to 3 years after resolution for dispute handling, then deleted.
Purchase records: Retained up to 5 years to comply with commerce/tax laws.
Data collected by third-party SDKs follows each provider’s retention policy.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may withdraw consent where applicable.

The App is not directed to children under 14 (or the local age of digital consent). Children should not use the App without parental consent.
Third-party services (e.g., ads, billing) may use servers located worldwide. Your information may be transferred internationally in accordance with applicable laws and the providers’ policies.
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and logging). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on your OS/version, the App may request:
Storage/Photos & Media (Optional): Save/share comparison receipts or images.
Network Access (Required): Load ads, verify purchases, check updates.
You can change permissions in device settings, though some features may be limited.
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking/Ads options
AdMob data choices may be managed via the first-run consent prompt or relevant device settings.
Collected: Advertising ID, ad interaction metrics (impressions/clicks), purchase tokens
Purposes: Ad delivery/measurement, purchase processing, functionality & performance
Transmission: Encrypted in transit via third-party services
