OUR REASON, OUR WHY...
Karly Rain Wood was an independent beautiful kind soul with an entreprenureal drive and large work ethic. Friends called her "THAT GIRL" becasue she figured it out, figured out life was about hard work, growth and LOVE.
Karly had a passion for perfume, beauty, fashion, music and natural herb remedies. She was Unopologetically her with a kind soul and amazing artistic abilities.
At 20, Karly had plans to open her own beauty business and buy a home. That dream was taken away November 13, 2022. Her life was taken at only 20 years young at a birthday party by repeat violent offenders. There for only 15 minutes before being shot multiple times by felons with guns. The world lost a beautiful, kind, talents and extremely creative soul that night.
Pretty Girl Fragrance Bar was created with Karly's love of fragrances and encouraging her friends' personal style. She thought people should love who they were and be themselves. We started this company to honor Karly with something in the realm that she wanted to explore but also help support her Karly Rain Memorial Fund.
The Karly Rain Memorial Fund plans to start a charity in her honor that will give voices to victims of violent crime, advocate for changes in laws and policies that support victim rights and common sense as well as continue to spread kindness and empower young adults with the independent, confident and kind spirit that Karly expressed everyday. Grief support and services for victims of violent crimes and to help them too use their voices for their loved ones.
Providing self teaching seminars, skilled trade mentorships and emotional intelligence classes to instill self love and conflict management in young adults. We will work closely with lawmakers, law enforcement and community leaders to keep awareness of survivors of victims and the effects of homicide of innocent victims and their families.
