About: Nihar Kona Sen (BA, BT) was a distinguished "Sports Blue" athlete from Dhaka University (then in British India, presently in Bangladesh) who dedicated her life to education, teaching in schools across both Kolkata and Rangoon, Burma. Her legacy of academic excellence continues through her son, Dhruba Sen.

Now residing in Massachusetts, USA, Dhruba focuses his research on the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence. Eligibility: This medal is awarded to the student who achieves the highest cumulative marks in Mathematics from Semester 1 through Semester 6.
Mandatory Condition: A crucial requirement for this award is that the student must not have any "supply" (backlog) in any mathematics paper during the specified period of study.
Tie-Breaking Rule: In the event of a tie, the total score in Mathematics will be reviewed in descending order, from Semester 6 back to Semester 1, to determine the winner.
