Bachelor of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics will offer a four year Bachelor Programme under CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM for B.Sc. Honours with Research in Mathematics (under NEP) , starting from 2023-2024 Academic Session. In the last few years Department offered a three year B.Sc honours program modelled after the Choice Based Credit System as proposed by UGC. After the formation of the University, the undergraduate syllabus was thoroughly revised in the academic year 2015-2016 and was upgraded to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in 2018-2019 For the detailed syllabi we will invite the interested to look below in the links.
Master of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics offers a two year Post graduate program in Mathematics for the degree of Master of Mathematics. The postgraduate syllabus has been revised on 2017-2018 . The links for the present and past syllabi are attached below.
Ph.D in Mathematics
The department has started its Ph.D. programme on 2018-2019, with the first completed PhD in 2023. The department currently has 22 Research Scholars. UGC-CSIR NET/UGC NET and NET-LS/ BET/ ICMR NET qualified candidates shall be eligible to apply for enrollment to Ph.D. programme. Ph.D. Programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum duration of six years from the date of enrolment in the PhD Programme.
