Work Log 

Certain research labs will ask that you log your hours doing lab-related work. This is because some research opportunities are paid, and others have course credit associated with them. Make sure you follow your research professor’s instructions carefully and complete these logs diligently. When everyone does this efficiently, it prevents professors from having to micromanage and allow them to spend more time on the mentoring process.
