As numerous alumni can attest, gaining research experience as an undergraduate student is a valuable, skill-building activity. However, they might also agree that before they joined a research lab, the research process itself was shrouded in mystery, and the prospect of approaching a professor seemed like a daunting task. Due to these concerns, we have developed the following training program. This program will cover: what psychology research entails, why you as an undergraduate student should be interested in gaining this experience, how to get started, and how to make the most of your time as a research assistant, working alongside a faculty member. We hope you find this program informative and motivational! Best wishes and happy researching!
