Another example of a predator/prey relationship, one that I was actually quite new to, is the Hawk and the Squirrel. In this relationship, the hawk is the predator, and the squirrel is the prey. Until now, I actually never heard of or seen this relationship before, so it is quite interesting to me. The hawks will use their talons to grip the squirrel and ultimately kill them. Though they hunt squirrels both dead or alive, they prefer to hunt them alive due to the nutrients provided.
