This course is mainly designed for the Agricultural Institute Turfgrass Management (AAS) curriculum. It covers mineral nutrition, water relations, environmental stress responses and management regimes for low-maintenance turf, golf courses, athletic fields and other turf settings.
This Course covers turfgrass selection, establishment, maintenance, and pest management in lawns, golf courses, athletic fields, and roadside care; emphasis on understanding the impact of the environment on management practices and turfgrass performance. This course is mainly designed for Crop and Soil Sciences (BS): Turfgrass Science curriculum, but we welcome anyone interested in turfgrass science and management.
This course covers integration of turfgrass management systems and the use of Best Management Practices (BMPs) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to protect environmental quality, examination of water quality issues relative to turf, application of BMPs and IIPM strategies. This course is mainly designed for Crop and Soil Sciences (BS): Turfgrass Science curriculum, but we welcome anyone interested in turfgrass science and management.
