Purpose
We are a small community aiming to build a robust recycling network of Precious Plastic projects in the Seattle area. We have folks building machines, reaching out to the community, and designing items made from recycled plastic.
By acting locally to reduce the impact of single-use plastics, we support the global effort to fight climate change.

Recycle Locally
How This Works
What We're Doing
Our current challenge is to reach out to the greater Seattle area to build our network. Our efforts are two-fold:
Bring together makers and artisans who want to roll up their sleeves and CREATE.
Develop partnerships with organizations who aim to contribute resources towards a local plastics recycling program.
call for Volunteers
We wholeheartedly welcome anyone who’d like to get involved; there’s a lot of work ahead of us! Active projects to get involved with are:
Locating space outside our respective garages for plastic processing machines, storage, and leads on where we can place collection points.
Securing machine parts to complete engaging the local community to help us build out the necessary components to get this project really moving.
