The Prairie Ridge PTO strives to increase the capacity of the teachers and staff at PRE by raising additional funds for grants, field trips, and other activities that will benefit the students of Prairie Ridge. In addition, the PRE PTO seeks to increase community and build relationships within the community among parents, teachers, local businesses, and the community at large. 

Last year the Prairie Ridge PTO funded:

• 5th Grade Field Day T-Shirts and K -4 Treats

• New shade structure and trees to be placed during the 2023-2024 school year
  (This was a large goal that took a few  years of fundraising to accomplish)

• Over $3500 in Field Trip Subsidies (Buses and Reverse Field Trips)

• Cal Wood Scholarships

• Holiday Shop Scholarships

• Yearbook scholarships

• New shelving for display cases by gymnasium

• Teacher Vouchers totaling ~$6000

• Starbucks gift cards for staff and substitutes

• Late Start Breakfast Contributions

• Conference Night Teacher Meals

• Teacher Appreciation and Classified Appreciation Week Celebrations

• Hosted the Prairie Ridge PTO Carnival
