Summary of activity 4

In this activity, we collected a dataset to model a discrete random variable. We analyzed the data to compute the probability mass function (PMF) and assessed the goodness of fit. The analysis included:

• Data Collection: We gathered data on [brief description of the dataset].

• Calculations: Used a Google Spreadsheet for data organization and calculations of the PMF.

• Goodness of Fit: Compared calculated probabilities with observed frequencies to validate the model.

• Alternative Models: Explored additional models to identify potential better fits.
