Welcome to 6th Grade Technology!

This course introduces students to the essential technology skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. Throughout the semester, students will learn digital citizenship, computer fundamentals, Microsoft Office, graphic design, research skills, coding, and multimedia creation while developing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Students will also build strong keyboarding habits through daily practice and complete hands-on projects that encourage them to create, communicate, and think like responsible digital citizens. Whether designing graphics, coding programs, producing multimedia, or exploring emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, students will leave this course with practical skills they can use for years to come
