Dr. Prashantha C. N is a leading Bioinformatics and Genomics expert with extensive academic, research, and entrepreneurial experience in computational biology, molecular modeling, and drug discovery. With a Ph.D. in Genomics (Biotechnology) from REVA University, his research explored pharmacogenomic biomarkers for Type 2 Diabetes, emphasizing whole exome sequencing, data analytics, and molecular docking.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics at REVA University, he has been instrumental in establishing and leading the Department of Bioinformatics, where he initiated both B.Sc. and M.Sc. Bioinformatics programs, integrating biology, computer science, and mathematics. His academic vision focuses on nurturing the next generation of bioinformatics professionals through an interdisciplinary curriculum aligned with modern omics research and AI applications.
